DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR OBTAINING ENTRY VISA TO RUSSIA:
1. Copy of the passport (to be scanned and e-mailed to:

Of all the armwrestling tapes I've seen in my days this tournament as well as the Yukon Jack 1996 event have always been the ones I enjoyed the most watching. As I've said before - the whole series of Yukon Jack tournaments from the beginning and the middle of the 90's were for the sport what Nemiroff World Cup are today - the most prestigous pro event everyone wanted to win!

Anatoly Skodtaev, Russia and George Iszakouits, Canada, a.k.a. "Crazy George" met up at the Central Ontario Armwrestling Championships in Peterborough on January 30, and man... did they have a tough match? This was a typical Crazy George match with the exception that his opponent gave him a harder match than what he is used to. An interesting video in many ways, especially if you are fascinated in the way Crazy George armwrestles!

"Anatoly Skodtaev's accomplishments (until 2007):
- Five time World Champion (1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2003)
- Silver medals at the World Championships (1992, 1993, 1994, 1999, 2003)
- Multiple* European Champion
- Multiple Russian National Champion
- Canadian National champion (2007, with both hands)
- Multiple prestigeous tournament "Golden Bear" and other world class competitions winner.
A.Skodtaev was born in Surkh Digora, North Ossetia. He graduated from North Ossetian State Medical Institute (1983) as a therapist.
Anatoly is a really unique sportsman. He started armwrestling at the prestigeous competitions when he was well over 30. But from 1992 for more then a decade he won all highest titles in armsport. Sometimes he competed with the heavy weight categories athlets, though his weight was only 90kg. At the age of 44 he won his last World Championship in Ottawa, Canada (2003).
A.Skodtaev, as a coach helped many Ossetian athlets achiev the top of world armwrestling, winning gold medals at the Wrold and European championships.
Presenly Anatoly Skodtaev lives in Toronto, Canada."

"During last months the Polish branch of PAL - Mazurenko Armwrestling Promotion is thinking of promotion of polish up-and-coming competitor Grzegorz Nowak from Gdynia.
His last achievements on the national field (the strongest Pole of 2010 for right hand) and international field (3rd of right hand super heavy class at Nemiroff World Cup 2009) made the promoters of PAL appreciated his tough training effort and the amazing increase of sports form. As of yet the competitor from Gda?sk in the part of the best international Armwrestling lead.
The PAL promoters would be glad to see Grzegorz Nowak at this year’s starts at Arnold Classic (on the 5th-7th of March 2010, Ohio, Columbus, USA). |

"Ion "Iron" Oncescu armwrestled against 300+ romanian people, on the official link you can see the list, and some pictures with some of the people who applied for fighting against Ion. The armfight was broadcasted live on the internet on: http://www.sport.ro/live/ibu1.html and www.kombat.ro. It's Ion's second show, in the first one he armwrestled last year agains 117 romanian people and he won. This year was more than 300. There were many romanian professional armwrestlers to spectated, like Radu "Valahu" Georgescu, Chinezi, Ioan Puscasu, Mihai Grasu, because the professional armwrestlers were not allowed to participate.

"How to defend a shoulder press"
|
"Engin, lots of people are able to beat me by shoulder pressing me. I can beat them after a tournament in a hook but then when we compete they just go for a quick shoulder press. I'm just wondering what the best way is to defend a shoulder press. If I know someone's going to shoulder press me, I try to separate their arm away from their shoulder, is this good? Also what exercises should I do to build up my defense for the shoulder press? Thanks in advance."
