During this period 1984 and 1987 in the 145 pounds and less Paul Checchini. I finally got him at the Sherway Garden Etobicooke Ontario. The competition has been showed on CTV Wide world of sport in 1988. After that, I pulled in the 154-165 pounds class between 1988 and 1995. Andrew "Cobra" Rhodes and Dave Patton were invincible for me because of my hook style! |

I had a lot of tough matches in the hook. Here is a list of my classic victories:
Paul Checchini in 1987. I dropped my weight from 160 to 145 lbs in 10 days for this tournament.
Paul Engel in 1988 North American championship Amos Abitibi, QC, Canada. There was an unbelievable match, close to 3 or 4 minutes against Mark Gardner in the hook style both arms in 1989 approx. Jason Vale in 1995 Yukon Jack tournament in NY. |

Canadian champion 3 times, World Champion in 1992 in Switzerland in the 70-75kg class, 3rd place at the Yukon Jack Tournament in 1995 - that was my last one and my best one because the competition was so high. A lot of second and third place at North American championship in Amos, QC Canada. |
