Growing up with 3 brothers we always enjoyed armwrestling. One day my bro met an armwrestler through work. His name's Bernie Lemay and he pulled us and destroyed us. We've never had that happen so we wanted to learn more from him. All of a sudden we started to practice every week and met all of the other Vancouver guys and have been with the Vancouver ArmWrestling Club ever since. |

My toughest match was the first time I pulled Allen Fisher at a tournament in Chehalis Washington in 2004 (video with the end of the match). It was long, each of us getting a foul, slip & straps. Then a good battle where I eventually won. The whole thing took about 5 minutes I think. |

Get on the table and practice every week, workout in between practices. Listen to your body, know when it needs rest. ArmWrestling is tough on your joints. Don't just rely on one move, learn them all and try to be good at them all.

I am inspired by Dave Hicks (who I train with & travel with) who is a National Champ, World Champ, WAF Referee.. etc. A great competitor & builder of the sport & friend.
I look up to guys like Devon Larratt & John Brzenk for the things they have accomplished in the sport.

| What changes to the sport would you like to see? |

Matches start with just "GO" instead of "Ready GO". This would take away people complaining about being early started I believe. |
